Amanda Heims Possibly Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Old Highway 20

Sussex County, DE (September 6, 2017) – A female driver was brought to the hospital after a crash that occurred on Old Highway 20 Sunday morning, September 3.
According to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, a westbound vehicle driven by Harold Maiers, from Earlville, rear-ended another vehicle as it was slowing down to make a turn into a driveway.
Amanda Heims, from Delhi, whose vehicle was rear-ended, was said to have sustained possible injuries.
First responders who arrived at the scene transported Heims to Regional Medical Center.
Maiers and his passenger were uninjured in the collision. However, he was cited for following too closely.
