1  Hospitalized after Tractor Trailers Collide on I-95 in Newark

Newark, Delaware (August 31, 2017) – Two tractor-trailers collided on I-95, Wednesday morning leaving one person injured.

According to Christiana Fire Department, the incident happened shortly before 4 a.m. August 30, on I-95 in the area of South Chapel Street.

Officials responding to the call found two trucks at the scene. One truck had fuel leaking from the saddle tanks, which were ruptured during the crash.

At least one person was injured in the crash and was transported by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in unknown condition.

Officials are yet to determine the cause of the crash.
